Mamata Banerjee challenges PM Modi, Amit Shah for Sanskrit Mantra reciting competition

Kolkata, Mar 19 (ANI): West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of spreading misinformation about people in the state not having religious freedom, and challenged its party president Amit Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a competition of reciting Sanskrit Mantras as she asserted that Puja doesn't mean just sporting a 'tilak'. "Puja does not only mean sporting a 'tilak', Amit babu and Modi babu please come and have a competition of mantras with me. Let's see who knows more Sanskrit mantras," Banerjee said at a community event in Kolkata.
